April means a city in Soroptimist-land of Northwestern Region (Washington, Oregon, Montana, Alaska, or Northern Idaho),  is energized with nearly 300 volunteer members who gather to re-ignite their passion for helping women and provide equal access to education to girls around the world.  This year, Northwestern Region Governor Stephanie Smith's theme, Teamwork Makes the Dream Work, is adding voices to the chorus of women around the northwest to increase awareness to human trafficking and provide education and healthcare opportunities to women and girls in need. During the April 2017 conference, we heard from award winners, distinguished speakers and volunteers (can you say Patti Dobrowolski?), and professional and personal development gurus who inspired us to lead and led us to inspire others.

Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick meets at noon every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at Clover Island Inn. Join us!
